Steel Structure Engineer

Key Responsibilities
▸ Perform structural analysis and design of steel pipe racks, platforms, access walkways, equipment support structures, and primary steel frameworks ▸ Prepare detailed structural steel design calculations in accordance with international codes (AISC, BS 5950, Eurocode 3) ▸ Develop and review structural drawings, fabrication details, connection designs, and bill of materials ▸ Model and analyse structures using STAAD Pro; perform 3D coordination and clash detection via Navisworks ▸ Review vendor fabrication drawings and material submittals for structural steel packages ▸ Coordinate with Civil, Piping, Mechanical, and E&I disciplines to ensure fully integrated, clash-free deliverables ▸ Respond to construction RFIs and technical queries related to structural steel scope ▸ Ensure all deliverables comply with QatarEnergy project specifications and applicable international standards ▸ Participate in interdisciplinary design checks (IDC) and 3D model review sessions
 Minimum Requirements
 Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Degree must be from an internationally recognised institution
 Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel engineering and design
Mandatory: experience within Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or EPC project environments
Demonstrated track record in structural steel design calculations and engineering deliverables
GCC / Qatar project experience is a strong advantage
