Structural Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed structural drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, based on design sketches and engineer specifications.
• Collaborate with senior structure engineer and other team of architects, MEP engineers to integrate structural components within the overall project design.
• Modify drawings and models as per engineer comments, client feedback, and project requirements.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents adhere to company and industry standards, including detailing, annotation, and material specifications.
• Adhere to local and international building codes, regulations, and safety standards in all designs and drawings.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and associated documentation for easy access and reference.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman
• Expertise in structural design drafting for various building types
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software
• Strong knowledge of Qatar building codes and design standards
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in working with consultancy firms is preferred.
