Technical Support Specialist / Engineer

 

Description:

Responsibilities:
·       Provide timely support for end-user requests and incidents
·       Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, IP phones, mobile devices) and software
·       Manage user accounts, permissions, and password issues
·       Support user profiles, remote assistance, and VIP users when required
·       Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure business continuity
·       Log, track, and close incidents using service management tools
·       Assist in IT asset management, patching, and system optimization
·       Collaborate with vendors for maintenance and procurement
·       Prepare technical reports and documentation
·       Support IT projects, events, and continuous service improvements

Requirements:
·       Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
·       Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
·       Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software
·       Experience with SCCM, patch management tools (e.g., Shavlik)
·       Knowledge of PowerShell/VB scripting
·       ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
·       MCSE/MCITP; Cisco certification is a plus
