Telecom Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to support our engineering team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Telecom Design and Engineering for the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East, preferably Qatar.
📅 Duration: 3–4 Months (Extendable)
💰 Salary: QAR 10,000 to 12,000 (Full Package)
🔍 Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in design and engineering (Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design) for Oil & Gas / Industrial Telecom projects in the Middle East
✔ Prior work experience in Qatar is highly preferred
✔ Proficient in designing the following Telecom systems for onshore/offshore applications:
Information and Communications Technology: LAN, WLAN, Telephony
Radio Systems: VHF, UHF, DMR, Microwave
Security and Surveillance: Access Control, CCTV, PIDS
Public Address & Life Safety: PAGA, Page Party
Marine Safety and Communications
Entertainment and Lifestyle Systems
Cabinets, OSP/ISP Cabling and Infrastructure
✔ Capable of performing site surveys to prepare engineering deliverables
✔ Skilled in developing detailed telecom documentation, including:
Telecom Site Survey Reports
Design Basis, Specifications, Datasheets
Block & Wiring Diagrams, Layouts
Installation Details, Calculations, Schedules
MTOs, Material Requisitions (MR), etc.
✔ Strong communication and client coordination skills
✔ Experience attending internal and external meetings
✔ Experience working with QatarEnergy and Qatar Shell GTL is an added advantage
