- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial valve maintenance, repair, and testing
- Hands-on experience with gate, globe, ball, butterfly, control, and safety relief valves
- Experience in valve dismantling, inspection, lapping, assembly, pressure testing, and calibration
