Yard Engineering Lead

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Yard Engineering Lead to join a a large-scale oil and gas project in Doha, Qatar. This is a key role providing technical leadership during fabrication and commissioning phases.
Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support to fabrication yard construction & commissioning activities
Act as the primary interface between site and design office to resolve engineering issues
Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications
Attend FATs/SATs and support field commissioning activities
Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and ensure smooth handover to operations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry
Broad knowledge of engineering execution: design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations
Strong knowledge of equipment, piping, pipeline, structural, instrumentation, telecom, and electrical systems
