Description:
EGEC Qatar, a leading Engineering Consultancy, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team in Doha. This role plays a key part in driving growth, expanding client relationships, and supporting strategic market positioning within the engineering and consultancy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the engineering and consultancy market
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
• Prepare and coordinate EOIs, prequalification documents, and technical proposals
• Support bid strategy development in collaboration with technical and management teams
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity tracking
• Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and industry events
• Maintain an updated pipeline of opportunities and report on business development activities
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development within an Engineering Consultancy
• Strong understanding of consultancy services, project life cycles, and tendering processes
• Proven experience in proposal preparation and client engagement
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Experience in Qatar or the GCC market is highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities
