Hse / Safety Lead

Description:

We are currently seeking a highly experienced HSE / Safety Lead to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
🎓 Educational Qualification (Minimum Required):
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering or Science stream) or equivalent
OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant discipline
📜 Technical Qualifications (Mandatory):
NEBOSH IGC
NEBOSH Level 6 / CSP / NVQ Level 6 / OTHM
OSHA – 36 Hours Construction Safety
🛠️ Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 12 years of experience as an HSEQ / SHE&S professional
At least 5 years in Oil & Gas sector, including HSE management of engineering, construction, commissioning, systems completion, hook-up, and start-up activities (brownfield & greenfield)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Safety Lead role, handling:
Safety documentation 📑
Safety meetings coordination 🗣️
Report preparation & safety investigations 🔍
Minimum 3 years of brownfield shutdown project experience in Oil & Gas ⚙️
Proven experience in implementing HSE management systems in new construction and start-up projects 🚧
Active involvement in workers’ welfare programs 👷‍♂️
Strong ability to drive proactive safety culture and achieve Safety KPIs 📊
Good knowledge of accident investigation processes and methodologies
