Retail Manager

Description:

The Retail Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of QDF stores and departments, driving commercial performance, maximizing profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer experience through strong leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop retail teams to achieve sales targets
Drive sales performance through analysis, forecasting, and planning
Ensure promotions and merchandising meet Qatar Duty Free standards
Maintain excellence in customer service, health & safety, and security
Manage stock levels, inventory control, and operational efficiency
Monitor market trends and competitor activity in travel retail
Organize promotions, displays, and special retail events
Communicate performance updates and initiatives across teams
Operate flexibly within a 24/7 airport retail environment

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Minimum 6 years retail management experience
Strong people leadership and commercial acumen
Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
Financial knowledge: budgets, cash handling, banking
Experience in Middle East, luxury, airport, or Duty Free retail
Strong analytical, organizational, and operational skills
Proficient in MS Office and retail IT systems
Flexible and hands-on for 24-hour operations
