Description:

We are seeking a highly senior and strategic Director – Cyber Security to lead and deliver large-scale cybersecurity programs for government and public sector entities in Qatar.
This is a leadership role with end-to-end ownership of cybersecurity strategy, advisory, delivery, and stakeholder management, working closely with senior government officials and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with government regulations and national security priorities
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior government stakeholders across the full cybersecurity lifecycle
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex cybersecurity transformation programs
• Drive governance, risk management, compliance, and security architecture initiatives
• Oversee implementation of advanced security solutions across cloud, OT, IoT, and AI environments
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., national and international standards)
• Translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable insights for non-technical leaders
• Mentor senior team members and build strong delivery and capability frameworks

Requirements
• 15–20+ years of experience in information / cyber security leadership roles
• Mandatory experience working with government or public sector entities
• Strong GCC experience (Qatar / Saudi / UAE preferred)
• Arabic language is mandatory (English fluency required)
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, compliance, and architecture
• Hands-on exposure to cloud security, digital transformation, and emerging technologies
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001, CRISC, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and large, complex engagements
