Podcast Intern

Description:

• Assist in pre-production activities, including brainstorming, researching, and script development.

• Participate in podcast recording sessions and help with audio setup and recording equipment.

• Collaborate with the production team to edit and post-process audio content, ensuring high audio quality.

• Assist in sourcing and securing podcast guests, conducting pre-interview research, and coordinating guest schedules.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in podcasting, audio editing software, and equipment.

• Manage and organize audio files, show notes, and metadata for podcast episodes.

• Work with the marketing team to promote podcast episodes through social media and other channels.

• Contribute to the development and execution of creative podcast ideas and concepts.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field (e.g., communications, journalism, media studies).

• Strong passion for podcasting and a deep knowledge of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in the podcasting industry.

• Familiarity with audio recording equipment, editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar), and the ability to quickly learn new tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.

• A strong sense of creativity and storytelling.
